Looking for a unique, robust and reliable watch from the 40's? Then don't look any further!
This very cool and unique watch got the beautiful nickname 'Sei Tacche'. For the ones that don't know what Sei Tacche means, it is Italian for '6 notches'. These are the notches in the caseback, used for opening and closing the back of the watch.
This Sei Tacche is in excellent condition, which becomes more rare with time passing. The dial is original and untouched, with a beautiful light cream patina evenly spread on the dial. The hands are also original and untouched, same like the rest of the watch.
This great watch comes with an Extract of the Archives by Longines. As can be seen on the pictures, all the numbers are matching which means this watch is in its original and complete condition. Fun fact : this watch was sold on 31 of March in 1948, to a company called Oystersetzer, which was an agent of Longines at that time in Italy.
The watch comes with 2 straps. A very nice NATO strap, and a light brown leather strap which is brand new, with an aftermarket Longines buckle.
