What a beautiful 50's chronograph!
Paul Buhre was one of the first watch companies in Europe. At first they were located in St. Petersburg, but in 1874 they decided to buy a watch factory in the Swiss city Le Locle. Back in the days the Buhre factory produced gift watches, which the emperor presented to officials, foreign diplomats and prominent figures. Also, the watches were given as bonuses to officers in the Russian army.
This makes me wondering to who this watch belonged to!
As can be seen, the watch is still in excellent condition, with barely any scratches on the case itself. Also is the dial, still in original condition with a nice cream patina.
It runs great, and keeps time very well!
